A midsummer night's dream

This is a story written by Shakespeare. There are two men and two women. Lysander and Hermia love each other but Hermia’s fiance Demetrus loves Hermia, too. And his ex-girlfriend Helena still loves Demetrus. Hermia and Lysander meet in the wood with the intention of running away and getting married secretly. Demetrius follows them and Helena follows Demetrius. How can they all be happy?

King Arthur

King Arthur is a hero of Britain. He fights for his country with his sword Excalibur and his brave knights. The story is quite simple and little boring. There are other books about King Arthur, so I will try to read another one, too.

Gulliver's travels

This is a story of Lemuel Gulliver 's adventure. He goes to many strange countries, a country tiny people live, a country giant people live, and a country flying on the sky. His last adventure is the country of the Houyhnhnms. Houyhnhnms are clever horses can speak languages. In this country, people are called Yahoos and they are all stupid and ugly.They can't even talk. Gulliver begins to admire Houyhnhnms and hate people. Because Houyhnhnms are never fight with each other and argue but people do them all the time. He thinks people are all just stupid Yahoos.

The teacher's secret

There are six folk tales from around the world in this book. Some of them are written in comic style. Each stories are short but fun to read. I read from this book that people live in Poland always drank wine from the bride's shoe at their weddings. I think it's an interesting tradition but isn't it dirty?

August 6

I finally bought a pair of jeans. I've been always wanted to have this. The name of this jeans is 'BOYFRIEND JEANS'. Don't you think it's so cute? It is a little loose jeans as if 'girl wearing her boyfriend's jeans'. I think it is not right to call it 'BOYFRIEND JEANS'. I think we may have to call it 'BOYFRIEND'S JEANS'...but any way, I think it's very charming. And surprisingly, 23 inch's one fits me! It is amazing! I couldn't wear skinny jeans at all because of my fat thigh.(That's why I hate skinny jeans.) Any way, I'm glad.

August 4

I went to 'Shirakawa suigen' with my family.

First, we went to a restaurant which name is 'Rakudayama'. We ate a lot of chicken. I don't like chicken very much, but I like this restaurant's one.
And then, we went to 'Shirakawa suigen'. Water was very cold and it was very cool there! And I bought a cute towel. It was nice drive.
